Certified Medical Assistant
Position Summary
The medical office of Michael A. Randolph, MD, PC, seeks a full-time, entry-level Certified Medical Assistant to assist medical providers with the examination and treatment of patients and perform routine tasks needed to keep the office running smoothly. This position requires Medical Assistant certification and two years of experience in internal medicine. The Certified Medical Assistant reports to the medical office’s Physician Assistant.
Job Responsibilities

Clinical (70%)
-
Greets patients and escorts them to the examination and/or procedure rooms.

Takes vital signs (pulse, blood pressure, temperature, pulse oxygen, hemoglobin, pain scale, ankle brachial index, suture/staple removal, nebulizer treatments and blood pressure as well weight and height; accurate documentation in patient’s EHR chart.

Calls in refill prescription medications for patients after physician approval and documentation; completes requisitions for tests (only if certified).

Cleans, stocks and sterilizes equipment and cleans and prepares patient rooms for care delivery.

Office Manager
Position Summary
The medical office of Michael A. Randolph, MD, PC, seeks a full-time, entry-level Medical Office Manager to manage the day-to-day administrative flow of the practice under the guidance of the Practice Administrator. This position requires a bachelor’s degree and preferably prior experience in healthcare administration.
Job Responsibilities

Office Management (75%)

Answering phone calls and managing front desk staff; problem-solving for patient requests and inquiries.

Schedule and confirm patients appointments utilizing NextGen EHR (Electronic Health Records, EPM (Electronic Patient Management); scanning and filing documents into patient charts using Next Gen Document Manager.

Manage inventory for office supplies

Finances (15%)

Human Resources (15%)

Schedule and confirm patients appointments utilizing NextGen EHR (Electronic Health Records, EPM (Electronic Patient Management); scanning and filing documents into patient charts using Next Gen Document Manager.

Daily verification of patient co-pays, balances, and insurance payments
